1) Avoid wasting inventory labels.
Generally, manufacturers apply static electricity to IML labels after production. However, prolonged sea transport or storage can cause this static electricity to be lost. Once the static electricity is lost, the labels become unusable because they cannot be properly adhered to the film cavity, resulting in label waste.
However, if you have a static charger, you can help re-apply static electricity to the labels, allowing them to be used normally.
2) Reduce the defect rate after injection molding
IML labels have a defect rate during injection molding because the surface of the IML label lacks sufficient static electricity. When placed in the injection molding machine cavity, the label may move or fall due to insufficient static electricity, causing it to shift. This results in a changed position of the label on the product after injection molding, making the product unqualified.
Therefore, you need to prepare a static charger to apply sufficient static electricity to the label before injection molding. This will prevent the IML label from shifting after being placed in the injection molding machine, resulting in a more perfect injection molding effect.
