Heat transfer film is printed with PET raw materials ;IML label is printed with OPP raw materials.
2) Different production processes:
Heat transfer film needs to add a glue layer on the back of the ink after printing, but IML label does not need it. IML label has many different thicknesses, including single layer, double layer composite and three layer composite labels, among which double layer and three layer composite have a composite step.
3) Different application areas:
Heat transfer film is mostly used for Partial printing ;IML label can be used for overall printing and decoration of the product.
4) Different printing methods:
Heat transfer film is printed twice using a heat transfer machine after the product is injected;IML label is to place the label directly in the mold cavity of the injection molding machine, and it is completed at one time while the product is injected.
5) Different shapes after production:
Heat transfer film is rolled after production, and IML label is piece after production.
