Production Steps of Heat Transfer Film

1. Cylinder Making
The process begins with precision cylinder preparation. Specialized engraving or photopolymer plates are mounted onto printing cylinders. These cylinders carry the design pattern and ensure accurate, repeatable registration during the printing stage.

2. Printing
Using gravure or flexographic printing presses, the designed pattern is printed onto a PET release film layer by layer. Solvent-based or UV-curable inks are applied to achieve vibrant colors and fine details. Multiple color stations work in sequence to build the full image.

3. Drying
After each color layer is printed, the film passes through a drying tunnel where hot air removes solvents and cures the ink. This step prevents smudging and ensures the ink adheres firmly to the release layer, ready for later heat transfer applications.

 4. Slitting
Once the printed roll is fully dried, it is transferred to a slitting machine. Large master rolls are cut into smaller rolls according to customer width specifications. Precise slitting ensures clean edges and consistent roll sizes for subsequent use.

5. Packaging
Each slit roll is carefully inspected and then packaged in moisture-proof bags and lined with anti-static film. Sturdy carton boxes are used to protect the rolls from dust, humidity, and physical damage during storage and transit.

6. Shipping
Finished products are labeled with batch numbers, specifications, and handling instructions. They are then loaded onto pallets and shipped to customers worldwide via air or sea freight, ensuring timely delivery for paint bucket decoration, plastic printing, and other applications.
