In the In Mold Labeling (IML) process, the Electrostatic Generator plays a crucial role, and the Static Generator Iml Label designed specifically for IML has become an important tool for improving production efficiency and quality.
This electrostatic generator is specially designed for IML technology, using advanced high-voltage electrostatic technology to generate a stable and precisely controllable electrostatic field. During the in mold labeling process, it can create controlled electrostatic charges on the surface of non-conductive materials, allowing the label to temporarily adhere to the product surface due to the attraction of opposite charges, providing a stable foundation for subsequent labeling operations.
This electrostatic generator has many advantages. Its design is compact and lightweight, making it easy to install and move on the production line without taking up too much space. The output voltage range is 0-20kV (negative polarity), which can be infinitely adjusted according to different label materials and product requirements to ensure the best electrostatic adsorption effect. At the same time, it is perfectly compatible with IML fixed systems such as Meech Hydra, easy to connect, and can deliver precise electricity to necessary positions without voltage dead corners. Voltage adjustment can be completed with just one knob, making the operation simple and intuitive.
In practical applications, this electrostatic generator effectively solves the problem of labels easily falling off during mold fixing, greatly improving the accuracy and stability of labeling and reducing the rate of defective products. Numerous companies have provided feedback that the use of this equipment has significantly improved production efficiency and made product quality more stable and reliable, bringing a new solution for in mold labeling technology.

Advantages of electrostatic generators
Why should we use Static generator for IML ?
1. Ensure accurate positioning of labels
In the film pasting process, the label needs to be accurately attached to the designated position on the inner wall of the mold before the mold is closed. Static electricity generates an electrostatic field, which fixes the label with electrostatic adsorption force when entering the mold, avoiding label displacement or detachment caused by mechanical arm movement or airflow disturbance during mold closure.
2. Improve production efficiency
Static appliances can achieve rapid and continuous adsorption of labels, reducing the adjustment time before mold closure, thereby improving the overall efficiency of injection molding production lines.
3. Adapt to high-speed automated production
The combination of automated robotic arms and electrostatic devices can achieve automatic picking, positioning, and attachment of labels, further enhancing the automation level of the production line.
4. Reduce label deformation and damage
The electrostatic adsorption force is evenly distributed and does not exert excessive pressure on the local area of the label, making it particularly suitable for attaching thin and fragile labels.
5. Reduce energy consumption and costs
Static appliances only work instantly when the label is attached, with low energy consumption and no need to continuously consume vacuum or compressed air.
The structure of the electrostatic adsorption system is simple, the maintenance cost is low, and long-term use can significantly reduce production costs.
The system is composed of an electrostatic generator and an electrostatic generating electrode. The electrostatic generator provides a high voltage for the electrostatic needle of the electrostatic generating electrode to generate the required charge.
The electrostatic generating electrode uses the high voltage generated by the electrostatic generator. The electric charge moves to the surface of the product under the action of the electric field.
How to operate?
1. Equipment inspection and preparation
Check whether the appearance of the equipment is intact, confirm that the grounding wire is firmly connected, and avoid the risk of leakage or short circuit.
2. Parameter settings
Voltage regulation: Set the output voltage (such as 0-30kV continuously adjustable) through the device panel or remote control, and adjust it according to the label material and thickness.
3. Label charging and attachment
Manual operation: Place the label near the electrode of the electrostatic generator and hold for 1-3 seconds. After the label is adsorbed, move it to the inner wall of the mold.Automated operation: After placing the label into the mold cavity through a robotic arm, the electrostatic device is activated, and the vacuum is released after the label adsorption is completed.
4. Equipment maintenance and safety
Regularly clean the discharge electrode, remove dust and oil stains, and maintain
1. Portability: Some static charge machines are portable, making them easy to move around and use in different locations.
2. Multiple output options: Static charge machines can have multiple output options, including blowing ionized air, pulsed DC voltage, and spot charging.
3. Safety features: Some static charge machines have built-in safety features, such as automatic shut-off when the tool is not in use, to prevent electrostatic discharge accidents.
What is the difference between a static generator for in mold label IML and a traditional static eliminator?
Traditional equipment is mostly general-purpose, while static generator IML is designed specifically for high-temperature and high-pressure injection molding environments: 1. High temperature resistance (up to 120 ° C) to avoid thermal deformation; 2. Adjustable ionization intensity, suitable for different materials (such as PET/PP film); 3. Built in sensors provide real-time feedback on electrostatic data and automatically adjust.
