Q:Why does the base color of the product or the color of the film become darker after printing?
1) Your product color is too dark, and the white base of the thermal transfer film is not thick, resulting in the product color showing through after printing. You can use 2 or even 3 layers of white on the design artwork.
2）Thicken and deepen the white ink,or use high-concentration white.
Q:How to ensure that the colors of design drawings are more standard?
1) For the electronic draft, the customer confirms the color and size. If there is a 5% difference between the product and the design draft, the customer will be informed in advance.
2) Use Pantone color cards to compare color numbers with customers.
Production process
1. Making the Cylinder: First, a precision gravure cylinder is engraved. This cylinder, with the design etched into its surface,will be used to apply the ink layers.
2. Printing: The film is fed through a printing press. The engraved cylinder transfers different colored inks onto the clear PET film base in a specific order, building the design layer by layer.
3. Drying: After each ink layer is applied, the film passes through a high-temperature drying oven. This evaporates the solvents and solidifies the inks before the next color is printed.
4. Quality Inspection: The printed film is meticulously inspected for any defects like color inaccuracies, misalignment (registration errors), or scratches to ensure consistent quality.
5. Die-Cutting: For specific applications, the film may be precisely cut into individual labels or shapes using a die-cutting machine to facilitate application.
6. Packaging: Finally, the finished roll of heat transfer film is carefully wound, covered to protect it from dust and damage,and packaged for shipment.
