Production process
Production Steps of heat Transfer Film
The printing pattern is engraved onto a metal cylinder (gravure roller) for high-precision ink transfer.
2.Printing
The base film (PET/OPP) passes through the engraved cylinder, picking up colored ink to form the desired design. Multiple cylinders may be used for multi-color printing.
3.Drying
Printed film enters a drying tunnel to evaporate solvents, ensuring ink adhesion and preventing smudging. Temperature and speed are carefully controlled.
4.Coating (Release & Adhesive Layers)
A release layer (e.g., silicone) is coated first, followed by a heat-activated adhesive layer (e.g., polyurethane). Each layer is dried separately.
5.Cutting into Small Rolls
The large film roll is slit into smaller, customer-required widths using precision cutting machines.
6.Quality Inspection & Packaging
QC Checks: Tests for color accuracy, adhesion strength, heat resistance, and defects.
Packaging: Approved rolls are wrapped in protective film, labeled, and boxed for shipment.
